Most prolific Catering service in Mumbai

The main attraction regarding cosmopolitan places is because there are numerous opportunities for the inhabitants. If that wasn’t the case, then perhaps the whole country would still be a village. People enter cities to climb the ladder of success and there are many angles to it. For some, it is at an acute angle of 60 degree giving them a steady progress while for some it happens to be a complete 360 degree that brings them back to square one. However, the point is that people continue working day and night losing the track of time. But under this huge pile of work, there lies hunger that needs to be slaked.  Now, few people may manage lunch from their home, but there are many who cannot. For this group of people, there is a facility of lunch box catering service.

This facility is mainly under the sector of working crowd that does not get sufficient time to have their lunch. Hence their boxes are packed with items that can be gulped quickly, for instance sandwiches and fruits. This keeps their stomachs filled as well as saves time in order to complete better tasks. On the other hand, even under work pressure, there are people who do not compromise over lunch. For them, it has to be the typical traditional food they eat at their home. Their lunch is simply incomplete if there is fast food on their plate. They give the required time for eating the lunch as they follow the agenda of ‘health is wealth’. These facilities have a pervasive nature and hence availability is never a problem. Let us just see through different kinds of conveniences provided.

*      Mobile catering service for outdoor events: Where there is urban culture, there is a lot of innovation under every zone. Similarly, there is this system where you receive breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner through a moving vehicle. Mobile catering service is a business where generally already prepared food is sold through the means of some vehicle. Although this is not a necessary scenario every time. There are certain foodstuffs which are prepared in front of the customer. They have both heating as well as refrigeration system that delivers the food according to the want of the eater. This particular facility also proves to be useful during natural calamities.

*   Traditional food in your tiffin:  As mentioned earlier, certain individuals prefer a complete nutritional diet in their lunchbox during work or for that matter even in their office canteen. This is because it makes them feel they had a proper lunch at their own home. Some might even visualize their dining table, who knows. It is indeed traditional food that makes a person happy, and fact is that the person need not be patriotic.

*      Catering service available for ships: It is observed that Merchant ships like Cruise liners or large Cargos usually carry catering officers. We know that food can be transported overseas, but it is equally required over the seas as well. Ships reach the destination after a very long period and it is difficult to carry packaged food for this long. Hence, catering service is essential under such circumstances. It is possible that Popeye might be receiving his Spinach in a similar manner, because after all even he is a sailor man.

Traditional food of India is in attention

With advancements and innovations happening in each field of life, it is no wonder then that even the field of food and cuisines has been progressing at a rapid state since a few years now. Thanks to fast spreading globalization and the advent of the internet age, people have gotten closer and the world has become a smaller place. Thus ideas are being shared more rampantly than ever before and at a fast rate that too. Ideas about food are being shared at a high rate through cookery shows, cook books, food blogs and even Instagram. Everyone loves something or the other about the traditional food of wherever they reside.

Traditional food

There is something very comforting about travelling all around the world or tasting cuisines from all around the globe but returning home to your good old traditional food. Indian especially, are very sentimental and emotional creatures who love their motherland and most things attached to it. Thus they love the cuisine of their region. Unlike other countries however, which have probably 4 cuisines at the max, India is a subcontinent which is a mixture of many cuisines and hence it is difficult for anyone in the world to classify any one regional food cuisine of India in the whole bracket of Indian cuisine.

You have different cuisines from the north say chhole bhature and daal bhaati churma then you have dhoklas and wada pavs or pav bhaji in the west. The eastern part of the nation is mostly known for its momos and sweet dishes such as rasmalai and rogolla while the Southern part is often eaten as breakfast in the form of dishes such as idli sambar, dosas and vadas. The beauty of Indian vegetarian food has now become a worldwide phenomenon and the authentic taste of the motherland is being relished by people all over the world.

Indian Vegetarian Food

After Chinese and American cuisine, the cuisine of our country is probably the most popular in the world what with even western celebrities vouching for the greatness of Indian vegetarian food. The reason why it is so well loved around the world and is also quite nutritious is because till recently, women of the house would be full time cooks who would make meals an elaborate process. The job of a housewife was more strenuous than that of a working man as there would be no end to being in the kitchen.

The joint family system meant that breakfast, snacks, lunch and dinner would have to be prepared in huge quantities and due to the lack of modern tools such as blenders, grinders, stoves or even chimneys, women would start the whole process of mixing and making spices from the scratch. It is not an easy task by any means to prepare the traditional food of our country. While people still go gaga over ‘maa ke haath ka khaana’, a thought ought to be spared for expecting the same old taste from our mothers as it is really not possible or feasible for females to be expected to spend their lives in kitchens anymore.

Food catering: enjoy the benefits!

What food culture do you adopt at home is not the question. Traditional food from any cuisine scores better than any other as what matters is just not the taste it is something that might include the taste of yesteryears. Grandmother’s love, the crisp spices rich food that you and other members of your family used to admire and were die-hard fans of. My friend at Singapore took me to his home, his paradise while we were staying in the foreign country. It was a question well placed whether we would like to go for a full-course buffet, a tea party at home, or a lavish cocktail, as it was no occasion meant for celebration in particular. Then, as it was soon decided, we all chose to have a buffet. As we had the main course, bite after bite, we had the sultry, tangy tastes coming straight from the traditionally ultra fantastic cuisine.

Bon Apetitos! This was what we yelled after having a good dose of fun food. The quality of the food that Mrs.Shukama, his mother served was simple superb! Then she disclosed that she was in the food catering business as well. What she served was eatables with proper recipes that were popular among people, perfect blend of spices with gravy in hygienic proportions. Whether from the East or the West, people vouched for popularly known as ‘Grandma’ Shukama’s culinary delight. No doubt, the food catering service was marvelous. Conjuring the delicious dishes from her household premises to schools, universities, even to wedding sometimes, required special skills. Where had she imbibed those specialties was a query that we all had from her. She replied, “Traditions from home” had taught her everything.

The freshness of home-made appetizing foods cannot come from the hands of even the quickest of the chef at the hotel. Hygiene remains an issue that keeps everyone in quest. Then whether the dish would pass the ‘to be or not to be’ criteria is another very important one to be answered. Soon many of our friends joined me to come up to a unanimous judgment. We would be opting for catering service from this lady. My friend hesitated, he did not even agree for a reasonable amount. But when all of us agreed, he answered with a clear-cut notion that we would keep partying at his home whenever we would feel like. He also said that apart from expressing our desire to have something special that we liked, we would never step into an eatery, big or small. We cheerfully agreed!

No doubt, the traditional food was tasty and we frequented my friend’s house quite often after that, what I still wonder is that our lady who made these dishes for us seemed agelessly young, her cooking ability made us feel so! It was like quite a contrast with her appearance which was certainly not that of a young cook, it was that of mother, who might be unaware of what the youth of today liked. It was the food that she put all her energy in. And it showed till the last bite that we had at that heavenly abode.

Still, it maintains its exclusive flavor and essence that sets it apart. Every region and state is widely recognized for its delicious savories. It’s a mix of a thousand flavors, colors, textures and aromas.

The four major Indian regional styles in cooking are East, West, North, and South. North India is influenced highly by Moghul dynasty, which ruled India almost for three centuries. Rich and saffron gravies prepared of pureed creams and nuts were all derivative from the Moghuls. On the contrary, South Indian food includes subtle textures and flavors. Their distinctive steamed rice cakes and rice crepes have been preferred by Southern Indian people. Western states of Maharashtra, Goa and Gujarat all have exclusive food experiences.  The state of Gujarat is well known for being one of the most excellent places to have vegetarian cuisines. Eastern states like West Bengal, Jharkhand and Bihar differ from each other greatly. Bengali cuisines can be defined as subtle and delicate, with rice and fish as their staple meal. Fish and lots of other seafood are dietary stables. Jharkhand and Bihar enjoy their beans and vegetables; however, they have western overtones. Their diet includes chicken and other delicacies.

The use of different spices and herbs gives it an outstanding aroma, and makes it a famous cuisine all around the world. The Indian restaurants are cashing on these reasons and have turned up with many extraordinary items on their menus. Restaurants have reinvented traditional food by implementing different techniques of cooking and even have emerged up with lots of fusion cuisines. For instance, a Rajasthani thali will consist of daal- bati churma, ghevar, and bail-gatte; whereas Guajarati thali consist of kadhi, dal, papad and puriyan. A thali is representation of traditional cuisines of a specific region. The thali permits a person to relish each delicacy in reasonable quantities. This has become a well-liked concept in modern restaurants, typically in Northern India.

Navratris are considered a good time in Hindu calendar and individuals follow them religiously by observing fasts. Bearing in mind, many restaurants dole out unique Indian thali for festivals such as teej or navratris. SoPsychology Articles, Indians have a likeness for spicy snacks and sweet desserts. No other country presents such a wide variety of unusual dishes to please your taste buds.

Indian food restaurants have been playing a crucial role in introducing various cuisines and dishes to the table. Restaurants are the only place wherein people have the liberty to eat what they wish. AT home due to lack of supplies it is impossible to invent and ideate new dishes. A restaurant plays a host and represents every community that is known for its culinary delights. Indian food is a pastiche of spices, herbs, fruits, vegetables, meat and other condiments. All these ingredients create an outburst of flavours that culminate into an aromatic experience. Caterers services in Mumbai is a burgeoning business

Caterers services in Mumbai, is a flourishing business because it is closely linked to parties, festival dinners and lunches, weddings and other social functions. Apart from social functions, these services are also extended to corporate needs. Employers can organise for healthy food to be served to their employees. Creating various delicacies from India’s vast culinary palate, these services can cater to any kind of tastes. A corporate catering service has to be just as vigilant about quality of food served as those who cater to parties and social events.

Caterers can cater to any kind of crowd – from small kitty parties to lavish wedding parties. These services are called in for kitty parties – who usually want ‘chaat’ counters and finger food, to birthday parties – who want starters, main course, desert and juices or for lavish wedding parties – who want various cuisines ranging for Italian to Mexican to Chinese besides various courses of meals. Thus catering services are customisable and have a large scale of operations in Mumbai especially which is the melting pot of cultures – there is someone to eat every kind of food.

One of the more popular among the food served by catering services is Indian vegetarian food. There are many takers for vegetarian food – since it is considered healthier and more hygienic. Indians, by default prefer home cooked food, but when they have no choice while outside their homes they prefer to eat vegetarian food. This is for not only hygienic reasons – they do not have to eat meat which might not be cleaned in a hygienic manner – but also because it is healthier, much easier to digest.

For caterers, Indian vegetarian food is cheaper to prepare in larger quantities rather than non vegetarian food. Since vegetarian food is consumed in larger quantities, most lavish parties and social events prefer serving that to their guests – making the food bill much more cost effective. There could be several variations in the food served even among vegetarian food, but the cost of the whole meal per plate is much cheaper than when you include a non vegetarian item in the menu.

The latest trend among caterers services is to move away from traditional food, since most Indian palates are open to experimenting with international cuisines. So an Italian, Mexican or Chinese counter is quite frequently seen at weddings and social events. People are also not averse to trying these out at meals served by caterers at their workplace.

When cooked in larger quantities, these cuisines – Italian, Mexican or Chinese, work just fine since there are no delicate spices involved. So even if the catering service misses out on some non essential but important ingredient – say in a Chinese cuisine, the caterer adds salt instead of Ajinomoto – it would still be palatable. Unlike Indian traditional food, a tuned Indian palate can immediately pick up something missing among the ingredients.  This works fine even for the caterers since it is far simpler to whip a non-Indian dish in a larger quantity than an Indian dish. As is the belief of most Indians eating out, they choose to believe that it is best to eat traditional Indian food when cooked in smaller quantities and when cooked at home. Experimentation with food should be left to when you are eating out.
